Public and Community Housing Survey - 2010
Overview
During August and September 2010, some tenants of public and community housing will be contacted as part of a nation-wide survey into tenant satisfaction. The survey is being conducted by the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (the AIHW) in collaboration with state and territory housing authorities.
A hard-copy survey booklet will be sent to randomly-selected tenants in late August. If chosen, you’ll be asked to complete a paper form and return it to the Social Research Centre in a postage-paid envelope. If you have access to the Internet, you also have the option to complete the same survey online.
Why we are consulting
The answers you provide help to shape the services you receive, and help the AIHW to understand what more can be done to improve public and community housing.
Participation in the research is voluntary and answers will be completely confidential.
The Social Research Centre will not pass on any information that could identify tenants to housing organisations/authorities, or to any other organisation. Data that does not include address or other identifying details will be provided to the relevant housing organisation/authority and to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare.
